On September 30, 2005 the integrated exercise was conducted having participation of about 1600 residents and officers under the joint auspices of the prefecture and 5 municipalities of Tokai-mura, Naka-shi etc.
It is the first time that nongovernmental nuclear fuel plant was taken up as the site for the prefecture's exercise. It was assumed that a criticality accident took place in the uranium recycling and recovery system.
The assumption is only for the exercise and actually could not occur in view of design and operation.
Under the motto of "Operation of safety first" MNF will continue to make efforts to be a company relied upon by local people and society.
