MNF and the Nuclear Fuel Cycle

The uranium ore which has been extracted from the uranium mine and fabricated into nuclear fuel is used at a nuclear power plant. By reprocessing (extracting the Uranium and Plutonium) the used fuel, and recycling it into new fuel, a stable supply of energy can be assured for the long term. Also, the entire process including transportation and the processing and disposal of radioactive waste is referred to collectively as the "nuclear fuel cycle."

MNF and the Nuclear Fuel Cycle

Today, a large majority of the light water reactors can be divided into two types: Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and Boiling Water Reactors (BWR). Our company is active manufacture of PWR type fuel. Additionally, our company manufactures non-fueled control components which are co-resident with fuel.
